DAY OF THE DEATH MINI BOOK

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!!!

I have a day of the death mini book to share, but first I want to let you know what day of the death is.

Is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. It is particularly celebrated in Mexico, where it is a national holiday. The celebration takes place on November 1, in connection with the Catholic holidays all saints day and all souls day November 2. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorites foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. They also leave possessions of the deceased.

This is only a brief explanation of what this day means.

And I am so ready to take pictures on the Day of the Death festival, I made this mini and I love the way it came out!! Hope you like it as much as I do!!

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stop by!!
